The SAAB J 32 Lansen (Lance) was developed during the 1950 and more than 400 were produced for the Swedish air force. There were 3 main versions, the A 32A - attack (bomb-) version and the S 32C reconnaissance (based on the A 32A, but with cameras in the nose instead of the four 20mm Bofors guns. The third version was the J 32B fighter version with a stronger engine (in sweden called "Sport Lansen).
In 1976 the aggressor squadron "Målflygdivisionen" (MFD) was created and equipped with the then modified J 32B:s in 2 new versions, J 32D - used for target towing and J 32E - used for electronic warfare (EW) training.
The model is one of theese J 32E Lansen with two jamming pods (Petrus and Adrian) and extra radio antennas for VHF/UHF jamming.
