The Tibetan Sand Fox is a species found on the high Tibetan Plateau, Ladakh Plateau, China, Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan. They can be seen on altitudes up to about 5,300m.
Sometimes, it is referred to as the Tibetan Fox or simply Sand Fox.
This fox is compact and small, with soft, dense coats, narrow muzzles and bushy tails.
