In 2018, the new company, called Brabham Automotive, introduced the world to its first big fruit: the BT62, a supercar designed for race tracks. With a 5.8 liter 8-cylinder aspirated engine, the beast generates about 700 horsepower. Unfortunately, not much has been disclosed about its base.
The model is all made of carbon fiber and kevlar parts, with rear wing, aerodynamic air vents, fins and bargeboard, in a package that has the capacity to generate 1,200 kg of aerodynamic pressure.
The wheels are rim 18, the steering wheel is removable and the carbon fiber seats follow FIA specification with six-point belt. The driver will also have access to a 12 inch touch panel to access and control performance information, as well as a second console screen with other car functions. That is, a truly detailed racing machine that will cost 1 million euros (about $ 4.2 million), with only 70 units to be built at the factory on the outskirts of Adelaide, Australia.
