This is the Battlestar Aries. Based on a similar design to the Battlestar Pegasus from Battlestar Galactica. Back-story: It survived the Cylon attack but just barely. Just like its sister ships it lost power at the beginning, but the crew was smart and swapped out main boards, or re flashed ROM chips and was able to get life support and engines online in mere minutes. By the time that the Basestars attacked it she had time to get weapons online and surprised them. It managed to destroy 2 Basestars before retreating from 6 more. After a few months of gathering refugees and small ships she headed off towards an unknown sector to find a new home.
